I came home the other night and my father and little sister were in the kitchen smiling and yelled “we got a new recipe, apple dumplings”! I had never heard of them before but figured hey, that sounds great! One of the funkiest apple desserts I have had in a while. What I loved about this recipe was the contrast of the sharp apple tartness mixed with the buttery richness of pastry dough. It the perfect dessert for someone who is looking to expand beyond cakes, cookies, and chocolates. They had used the food network to find the recipe and I copied the link for you.
